About Window Repair
The standard size is about 100 yen coin's size that would cover the scratch. Depending on the location of the scratch or crack, it may not be possible to repair it.
Depending on the size and location of the scratch, we may recommend glass replacement.
Precautions
About repair marks
After the repair, there will still be marks. Also, the finish will differ slightly depending on the type of flaw or crack. Repair marks will gradually become more noticeable due to deterioration over time. Basically, we cannot guarantee the inspection of the vehicle after the repair.
Position A
Basically, we do not recommend repairing. Since the part of the windshield that touches the outside is greatly affected by distortion and vibration of the car body, there is a very high possibility that cracks will spread during and after the repair work is completed. Please understand this in advance.
Position B
Since hot and cold air hits the area near the air conditioner outlet, the temperature difference between the outside and inside of the glass increases when the defroster is used, and the crack may spread from the repair area.
Position C
Compared to A and B, the strength after repair is more stable, but since this is only a repair, cracks may become larger due to heat or vibration in rare cases. Please note that the repaired area may be noticed during operation.

The maintenance of electronic control devices is defined as specified maintenance by the proposed law to partially revise the Road Trucking Vehicle Law, which went into effect on April 1, 2020.
In addition, "certification" is required to perform specified maintenance.
